Thank You, Canadian Tire Jumpstart, for Empowering Our Summer Camp

UCSS Ottawa extends its sincere appreciation to Canadian Tire Jumpstart for their trust, support, and belief in our mission. We are grateful for partners whose kindness and commitment help us create safe, inclusive, and enriching experiences for children in our community.

With Jumpstart’s support, each camp group received sun shelters (gazebos) that provided shaded, comfortable spaces protected from mosquitoes — ideal areas where children could play, collaborate, communicate, and dream together. Our camp also welcomed a large outdoor dinosaur, which quickly became a favourite companion during hot summer days.

In addition, Jumpstart’s contribution enabled us to purchase sleeping bags, an inflatable mattress, and a variety of fishing and camping essentials that improved daily camp life and helped children develop valuable outdoor skills.

We deeply appreciate Jumpstart’s generosity and the positive impact it brings to our program. Their support strengthens our community and helps us offer meaningful, joyful, and accessible summer experiences for every child.
