Honouring Community Impact: UCSS Ottawa Recognized for $10,000 Contribution
Ukrainian Canadian Social Services – Ottawa Branch is honoured to receive a Certificate of Appreciation from Maple Hope Foundation in recognition of our $10,000 contribution to fundraising efforts supporting bereavement support programs for mothers of fallen Ukrainian defenders.
This recognition reflects the compassion, generosity, and commitment of our community. At a time when so many families in Ukraine continue to live with the devastating consequences of war, it is especially important to support those carrying profound grief and loss.
The funds acknowledged through this certificate help advance programs dedicated to bereavement support for mothers who have lost their sons defending Ukraine. These initiatives provide meaningful care, emotional support, and hope to women facing unimaginable hardship.
We are grateful to Maple Hope Foundation for this recognition and for their ongoing work in support of Ukrainians affected by war. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has contributed, volunteered, partnered with us, and stood with Ukraine through our community efforts.
This certificate belongs to our entire community.
Together, we continue to show that even from afar, we can make a real and lasting difference.
