Transforming Lives - Serving Ottawa's Ukrainian Community and Supporting Displaced Families from UkraineSoniashnyk (Sunflower) Camp in 2026

CREATE TOMORROW TODAY - Send a Kid to Camp
- July 12 - August 2, 2026
- For girls and boys, ages 8 to 13
As we all know, on February 24, 2022, Russia launched a brutal military invasion of Ukraine.
By spring time it was evident that many displaced families, primarily women and children, had chosen Ottawa as their new home.
Understanding the need for children to become assimilated into a new culture, our Sunflower Summer Camp was born.
Since then we’ve been able to give almost 200 Ukrainian kids a week-long Canadian camping experience.
Camps such as ours aren’t just something to do when school’s out - they’re life-changing experiences.
Please help us Create Tomorrow Today by making a donation to help a displaced Ukrainian child go to Sunflower Camp this summer.
$600 will sponsor one child but any amount is greatly appreciated.
All donations are tax-deductible.

What is the Ukrainian children’s summer camp “Sonyashnyk”?
It is a safe, developmental, and exciting environment for spending summer holidays!
After attending our camp, all participants will become more independent, confident in communicating
with their peers, and discover new abilities and talents within themselves!
Camp “Sonyashnyk” offers unique themed programs. The creative organizing team always takes into
account children's individual preferences, allowing them to gain maximum enjoyment and benefit from their summer experience.
