These words perfectly capture the journey of the UCSS Ottawa team over the past months. Today, we are beyond proud to officially announce that our Charity Malanka 2026 has reached its most ambitious summit yet.

There were nights of doubt. There were logistics that felt insurmountable. There were moments when reaching our target felt like chasing the horizon. But today, after a meticulous final count of every donation and expense, we have a clear and triumphant number: $10,000.

Every cent of this $10,000 has been transferred to the Maple Hope Foundation for the "Heal a Mother's Heart" project.

These funds will provide professional psychological rehabilitation and life-changing support for Ukrainian mothers who have endured the unimaginable loss of their children to this war.

To our volunteers who worked until dawn, our guests who opened their hearts, and every donor who believed in our vision: we bow to you in deep gratitude. You proved that when a community unites with a singular purpose, the "impossible" becomes a reality.
